Local Video Recording
UniFi Protect records to suitable local hardware and drives. We plan recorder capacity around camera count, resolution and your desired recording history. Core local recording does not require a cloud recording subscription; hardware, storage and optional services have separate costs.
One Installation Plan
Camera views, Ethernet cable routes, PoE switch capacity and the recorder are designed together. We can review existing cabling and equipment before recommending an upgrade, then configure the agreed recording, user access and notification settings.

Common Questions.
Are All AI Camera Features The Same?
No. Detection and recognition tools vary by model. Some advanced features require additional hardware, and some camera types have exclusions. Your proposal will identify the capabilities of the cameras and recorder selected for your property.
Can You Upgrade My Existing Cameras?
We can review the current cameras, cabling, switch and recorder. Reusing equipment depends on condition and compatibility. Some third-party cameras can connect through ONVIF, but recording and detection capabilities vary.
Can I View Cameras Away From The Property?
Remote viewing can be configured through UniFi Protect with suitable internet connectivity and account access. We explain the setup and controls at handover.
What Determines The Installation Cost?
Camera quantity and type, cable routes, mounting requirements, network equipment and storage capacity all affect the scope. Tell us about your property so we can discuss an appropriate proposal.
